Allergy

1 in 3 people* suffer from an allergy, and many are not limited to the seasons.

Sneezing, runny noses and itchy watery eyes are among the complaints caused by airborne allergies

AAH's healthwatch Allergy Management Service enables you and your staff to identify airborne allergies in-house, using simple, efficient testing kits. Providing straightforward, helpful results – fast

The test isolates the 10 most common allergens, to help you select a targeted remedy, as well as offer advice on how to ease symptoms.

Quick and easy

  • It takes on average 20 minutes and can be provided by any member of staff who has undergone the relevant training.
  • The customer completes a clinical history form and then the member of staff takes a simple finger-prick blood test.
  • The pharmacist then reviews the results and offers appropriate advice and relevant products to ease symptoms.

Training and support

Training covers the theory of immunology and allergic reaction, how to take clinical history, product knowledge (how to take the test) and maximising sales opportunities.

The package includes:

  • an onsite training day for you and your staff
  • a detailed support pack
  • marketing materials to promote the service and 10 Phadia ImmunoCAP Rapid allergy testing kits.

Service Fees

The Allergy management service is available to healthwatch members for £115, plus the purchase of 10 allergy testing kits at £19.41 each. Total one-off fee of £309.10 ex VAT.
